Welcome to Simply Elizabeth Cleaning Services. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website and the booking of cleaning services through our website. By accessing our website, browsing, or placing a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

General
Simply Elizabeth Cleaning Services may update or change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of the website or booking of services after changes are made will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.
Eligibility
By booking our services, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
The personal details you provide are accurate, complete, and up to date.
You are the property owner, tenant, or have permission from the property owner to request cleaning services.
Bookings & Payments
Bookings must be made through our website or by direct contact with Simply Elizabeth Cleaning Services.
The full payment is due the day before your scheduled service. Any booking fees you’ve already paid will be taken off the final cost, so you’ll only pay the remaining balance on completion.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking for reasons including but not limited to: safety concerns, incomplete information, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Price Reviews & Adjustments
Our service pricing is based on an assessment of the property’s condition at the time of quotation, using our internal points-based system to reflect the level of work required.
We reserve the right to review and adjust quoted prices every three (3) months, or sooner if reasonably necessary, where the condition of the property has changed and this results in an increase or decrease in the number of points awarded.
Factors that may warrant a price review include, but are not limited to:
Changes in cleanliness standards or maintenance, Increased usage, occupancy, or guest turnover, Additional work required beyond the original scope, Deterioration in property condition over time
Any price adjustment will be communicated in advance, and the revised price will apply only to future services. Continued use of our services following notification of a price change constitutes acceptance of the revised pricing.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 7 days in advance of the scheduled service free of charge.
Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the scheduled service will incur a 50% service charge, deducted from the total booking fee.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service are non-refundable, and full payment will be retained.
Failure to provide access to the property at the agreed time will be treated as a late cancellation and charged in full.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property for our staff at the agreed time.
The customer must inform us of any health & safety risks, fragile items, or special cleaning requirements in advance.
Valuable or delicate items should be safely stored away prior to the service.
Service Limitations & Disclaimers
Simply Elizabeth Cleaning Services will provide cleaning to a professional standard but cannot guarantee removal of permanent stains, heavy damage, or wear.
We will not be liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or defects within the property or furnishings.
We use standard cleaning products unless otherwise agreed. The customer must notify us in advance of any allergies, sensitivities, or restrictions.
Services do not include lifting heavy furniture, dealing with hazardous materials (e.g., mould, bodily fluids, asbestos), or tasks outside the scope of standard cleaning.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Simply Elizabeth Cleaning Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of property value, profits, or goodwill.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total service fee paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any rights protected under consumer law.
Privacy & Data Protection
All personal information provided will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By booking our services, you consent to us using your information for booking management, communication, and service delivery.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, and branding, belongs to Simply Elizabeth Cleaning Services.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without prior written consent.
Severance
If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
