These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website and the booking of our cleaning services.
By accessing our website, making an enquiry, or confirming a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.
General
We may update or amend these Terms & Conditions as needed to reflect changes in our services or operations.
Continued use of our services following any updates confirms acceptance of the revised terms.
Eligibility
By booking our services, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
The personal details you provide are accurate, complete, and up to date.
You are the property owner, tenant, or have permission to arrange cleaning services.
Bookings & Payments
Bookings can be made through our website or by direct contact with Simply Elizabeth Cleaning Services.
The full payment is due the day before your scheduled service. Any booking fees already paid will be deducted from the total balance.
Your appointment is only confirmed once payment has been received.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking for reasons including but not limited to: safety concerns, incomplete information, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Price Reviews & Adjustments
Our service pricing is based on the condition of your property at the time of quotation, using our internal point-based system to reflect the level of work required.
As part of maintaining a consistent standard, we may review pricing periodically to ensure it continues to reflect the condition and upkeep of the property. Where necessary, adjustments may also be made within our internal system to accurately reflect any changes in workload.
where changes are required, this will be communicated in advance, with any adjustments applying to future services only.
When Adjustments May Be Required & Continuity
Price reviews may take place where there are changes to the overall condition or maintenance of the property, including:
Increased usage, occupancy, or guest turnover
Additional work required beyond the original scope
changes in cleanliness standards or upkeep
natural deterioration of the property over time
Continued use of our services following notification of a price adjustment confirms acceptance of the updated pricing.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 7 days in advance of the scheduled service free of charge.
Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the scheduled service will incur a 50% service charge.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service are non-refundable, and full payment will be retained.
If we are unable to access the property at the agreed time, this will be treated as a late cancellation and charged in full.
Customer Responsibilities
To allow us to deliver our service safely and effectively, clients are responsible for:
Provide safe and reasonable access to the property at the scheduled time.
Informing us in advance of any health & safety risks, fragile items, or specific requirements.
Ensuring valuable or delicate items are stored safely prior to our visit.
Informing us in advance of any other work being carried out at the property, including work taking place before, during, or following our scheduled service where it may affect the condition or accessibility of the space.
Service Limitations
We provide cleaning services to a professional standard; however, we cannot guarantee the removal of permanent stains, heavy damage, or wear.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or faults within the property or its contents.
Our services do not include:
Lifting heavy furniture
Handling hazardous materials (e.g. mould, bodily fluids, asbestos)
Tasks outside the agreed scope of cleaning
Products & Sensitivities
We use professional cleaning products unless otherwise agreed.
Clients must notify us in advance of any allergies, sensitivities, or product restrictions.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Simply Elizabeth Cleaning Services is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of property value, income, or goodwill.
Our maximum liability is limited to the total service fee paid for the specific booking.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, or any rights protected under consumer law.
Privacy & Data Protection
All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you consent to the use of your information for booking management, communication, and service delivery.
Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, images, and branding, belongs to Simply Elizabeth Cleaning Services.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.
Severance
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes will be handled within the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
